Establishing Cat Stations
A Space for Coexistence Between Street Cats and People
What is a Cat Station?
A Cat Station is a street cat shelter conceptualized by Buddylog.
It's a sort of resting place where urban street cats can freely come and go, rest, and receive clean food and water. Here, we'll provide regular vaccinations, deworming medication, and clean litter boxes to help cats live comfortably. During extreme cold or heat, it will also serve as a safe haven, maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature for the cats. Street cats in the area can use the Cat Station freely whenever they wish.
Cats that frequently visit and adapt to the Cat Station will be sequentially captured to support TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) surgeries, health check-ups, and vaccinations. If a cat requires isolation or treatment, necessary measures like immediate isolation, treatment, or examination will be carried out.
A portion of the Cat Station space will feature an area where cat activities can be observed, and a separate, glass-enclosed area for people. This area will be utilized as a café and a Buddylog souvenir shop. While Buddylog's profits will be the primary funding for Cat Station operations, the sales from the café and souvenir shop will also be fully used to care for the street cats. In the long term, we will strive for the Cat Station to generate sufficient self-sustaining revenue to operate independently.
Why are Cat Stations needed?
While the average lifespan of a protected house cat is 16 years, the average lifespan of a street cat is a very short 3 years.
This is because street cats are exposed to countless accidents and diseases, and survival on the streets itself involves extreme stress. In some regions and cultures, street cats can live relatively easily, but in others, they may face harsh and barren environments. Furthermore, on the streets, they are exposed to numerous dangers, diseases, and the threat of animal abuse.
Therefore, we believe that Cat Stations are necessary as shelters that street cats can comfortably use at any time. Through Cat Stations, street cats will have a safe space to rest in the dangerous and harsh urban environment, and this will also provide an opportunity for them to become closer to the people in the area. If any cats settle in the Cat Station and no longer wish to go outside, we will actively support their adoption into new families.
Buddylog plans to select the most vulnerable areas for street cats, establish Cat Stations there, and operate them on a trial basis. If this initial trial operation is successful, we will increase the number of Cat Stations and expand their establishment to other regions.
Additionally, we will utilize the animal recognition feature of the Buddylog app to easily check the names and information of each cat at the Cat Station and provide continuous updates on their well-being.

Establishing an Abandoned Animal Sanctuary
A Haven for Abandoned Lives
What is a Sanctuary?
The literal meaning of "sanctuary" includes "rest" and "protection." Interpreting it simply as an animal shelter doesn't fully convey its meaning. This will be a place where all animals admitted will be safely protected until they peacefully live out their lives or find new families, without population control through euthanasia.
Furthermore, we will create programs for people to interact with the animals within the sanctuary, foster communication, and install restaurants, cafes, and recreational facilities to encourage many people to visit and enjoy themselves.
Revenue generated from visitor activities will be used for the sanctuary's operation. If a visitor wishes to adopt an animal from the shelter, Buddylog will assist them in becoming a family, facilitate the necessary contract signing, and conduct a brief qualification check for the prospective guardian.
Why is an Abandoned Animal Sanctuary needed?
While we strive for a world where no animals are abandoned, countless animals are still discarded every year.
The shelters that house them vary slightly from country to country and city to city, but many are in very poor conditions. In particular, many shelters euthanize tens to hundreds of animals each week to manage their animal capacity. Furthermore, many facilities are not comfortable for animals to live in, and some even become places of neglect and abuse.
We dream of a world where the countless abandoned dogs and cats suffering in deplorable shelters and dying by euthanasia no longer exist. Therefore, we believe that a space is needed to protect abandoned animals and provide them with a comfortable life.
We believe that a place is needed that not only serves as a shelter but also offers various programs and supports people spending time with animals, allowing many to visit and enjoy their leisure time.
Through the establishment of an abandoned animal sanctuary, Buddylog hopes to take on the front-line role of directly caring for and protecting abandoned animals.
Additionally, we will utilize the animal recognition feature of the Buddylog app to easily check the names and information of all animals within the sanctuary, providing people with the opportunity to continuously follow their stories until they meet their new families.

Launching CubeSat Satellites
An Experience of Viewing Earth from Space
What is a CubeSat?
A CubeSat refers to a small artificial satellite made from a combination of structures, each approximately 10cm in length, width, and height.
It's a small satellite within a maximum size of 20cm x 10cm x 60cm. Buddylog plans to develop a CubeSat equipped with a high-definition VR camera to photograph Earth and launch it into space.
Through this, we aim to provide an immersive experience of viewing Earth from space using VR, all from the comfort of your home.
Why launch CubeSat satellites?
Buddylog's core philosophy is to create a world where humans and animals coexist safely and respect each other's lives. This implies that humans must respect and protect animal lives and demonstrate a responsible attitude.
We believe that when people view Earth from space, it helps them realize that we are all ultimately one.
Therefore, we wish for countless people to have the experience of looking at Earth from space.
Space travel is very expensive and not accessible to everyone. However, we can play back the videos filmed and transmitted by the VR CubeSat satellite we launch here on Earth.
We hope that everyone can have the mystical experience of comfortably lying down at home and using VR to view Earth.
